Each session should start with a gradual approach. Begin by immersing yourself in the ice bath for about 5 - 10 minutes. The water temperature should be kept between 50 - 59°F (10 - 15°C). Avoid staying in for too long, as prolonged exposure to extreme cold can lead to frostbite or other cold - related injuries. During the session, try to stay still and focus on deep breathing to help your body relax. After the session, dry off immediately and warm up gradually. You can wear warm clothes or take a short warm shower to help your body return to its normal temperature.
